1 Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed
then he fell and hit his head. Yep, he bounced forward and hit his head on the headboard. I really got scared because it only took literally 1 second for this bump to bulge up! Even worse, he had just hit his head in that same spot ther other day riding his little scooter type toy so that really made me worry; him hitting it in the same spot. Ouch!
Thank you to the wonderful twitter gals @blm03, @conniefoggles, and @venomouskate for caring and giving tips;)

Looks like this will take more than blemish acne cream!!! LOL

Oh my goodness — OUCH!!! Poor kiddo! My oldest was like that, I swore he had a magnet in his head that made him run into things! I hope your little man heals soon!

Wow! that’s good one! My DD12 is the clumsy one in our family, always getting bumps and bruises.

I can relate, my daughter always has a new bump or bruise. I watch her, carefully…I do! She just is dangerous and can get hurt in two seconds. Luckily, she bounces back. Give him some ice and lots o kisses! If it’s the head, I just try to not let them sleep for an hour or two. I hope he’s doing okay.

Ouch! He looks like my pictures from the time I was 3 until after I started school. I always had a bump on my head from running into or falling on something. It’s scary now, but he will be ok.
Ouch! Poor Truett! You should really really worry if it goes in and not bulges out. I have learned that over the years with three boys.
Ouch!!! I hate when that happened to one of my girls. I think another poster already said this, but I know you need to be more concerned if they Didn’t have a knot form right away. I think you also just have to be aware of their eyes (not crossing, not out of focus) and make sure they are not nauseous or vomiting. I think those are signs of a more serious head injury! But I am always amazed at how resilient kids are. The very next day they have bounced back and are scaring us to death again! :o)

I knew how worried you were & I can relate. My oldest scared me constantly. She had so many bumps, bruises, breaks, fractures, and staples that I’m surprised no one thought I was abusing her.
Glad he’s doing better, that’s the most important thing.
If he’s accident-prone, you might want to keep this handy:

I swear, it keeps bruises from forming. Jasper fell off the couch head-first onto our hardwood floor the other day and I was sure it was gonna be a giant goose egg, but I slathered the Boo Boo Stick on and it was barely tinged blue and not swollen at all. Amazing stuff. And, no, they don’t pay me!
OUCH!! Poor little guy. It’s scary when that happens. I feel for him and you both. I hope he’s doing alright.

oh my goodness hope it doesn’t hurt him too bad.
Ouch! I’m sorry to hear this, I hope he is doing much better. Did you have him checked out just in case for a concussion?
Our now four year old has bumped his head so many times in the past few years it’s scary. One time he had to get staples in his head from trying to climb the baby gate…needless to say we stopped using the gates then.
