Black Friday Spent in My Pajamas

Branded by Lori | November 21, 2007 .

I don’t know about you, but I’ll be staying home and shopping online for Black-Friday this year!  No way am I gonna fight those crowds. Been there, done that.  One of my favorite places to shop is Amazon.  This year they have all sorts of specials going on and will be having hourly deals from 6am pst to 6pm.  They are also offering $.99 shipping!!! Woohoo! I love that.

You can be that game-systems will be popular, as well as, digital cameras.  In fact, I plan on buying myself a brand new SLR this year  Oh yeah…I’m going big time baby!

There are so many toys to choose from these days that it makes nearly impossible to decide on what to get.  I plan on redoing Truett’s room so I thought I would get him a toy-box for Christmas. Check this one out! It’s so freakin’ cute.  31dbqnk2vdl__aa267_.jpg

So what’s everyone planning on doing this year? Are you fightin’ the crowds or laying low and doing some online shopping?  Pajamas, Dr. Pepper, credit card, and my computer is all I need for my Black-Friday shopping  Woohoo!

Thats a really interesting idea. I’d never thought about doing black friday gift-shopping from home, but it seems like it would be much more relaxing than rushing through the crowds!

As for me, I havent decided. Who knows, I might give it a try from home, or do a mix of both.

I’m tellin’ you, it’s crazy! One year I went to get a stereo..stood in line for 2hrs like an idiot and was at the front of the line at Target..when they opened those doors, I started running like a madwoman..I don’t know, I guess it was because everyone else was running. People were taking stuff from other people’s baskets, running over people. IT was awful!

Good luck if you decide to go

I think I’m going to go for a ride.

The madness will simply have to take place without me. I too will be shopping from the comfort of my computer chair.

Cabela’s usually gets most of our business. Amazon for books and various items. Still need to make my list though.

Which camera have you chosen? I’m still trying to decide. Help me out here ~ I need a partner in crime if I’m going to take the digital SLR plunge.

It is definitely between the canon rebel xti or the nikon. I think I’m going to get a Nikon D70s. I think a D80 is too much for me right now. My aunt is a professional photographer and she recommended that one

Ahhhh, Cabelas!..Um, are you going through an affiliate link

I did the same thing, I was home in my PJ’s on line for Black Friday. I did pretty good too.

I actually ended up going shopping early on Black Friday, my first time. It was fun because I was with my daughter and her friend. We stood in line for 10-15 minutes for Circuit City to open at 5. And then we stood in line for 30 minutes for Target to open at 6. We were very fortunate because everyone we were around acted civilized. I may go again next year, but only if my daughter goes too. That’s what makes it fun!
