Mommy Blogger?

I have received an email yesterday asking me a couple of questions. Here is part of them email:

Hello. I was wondering if you consider yourself to be a mommy blogger? Your blog doesn’t seem to be geared towards a specific niche but I noticed you are a mom. I would also like to know what exactly your blog is about?

First, I really don’t consider myself to be a mommy blogger specifically. What I mean is, my 2 blogs don’t have much to do with children, toys, ect. I suppose on a general level, I am a mommy blogger. I’m not quite for sure what the definition is of the phrase “mommy blogger” but I do associate myself with other mothers and I am a mom.

This blog isn’t about anything in particular. I provide blogging tips, shopping tips, health tips, ways to earn some extra cash online, ect. It’s very random I guess. When I started this blog, I intended it to be only about blogging tips and ways to earn money but I decided that I would rather talk about an array of topics instead of limiting myself to just 1 or 2.

So, there you have it. I hope that answers your questions about me and my blog!

I guess by definition, you are a mummy blogger, but your blog is not a parenting or mummy blog.

Similarly, many bloggers can be also daddy blogger, student blogger, teenage blogger, etc. Depends on how they want to segment us. :P
