Our Christmas Tree
Our tradition is to put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I used be crazy about rearranging what the kids decorated but have overcome that control issue. They do all the decorating and I leave it the way it is. Most of our ornaments are western but we do have some made by the kids, some homemade ones, and some that were passed down. Our topper is a cowboy hatof course and my tree skirt features a cowboy santa, horse, hat, boot, and cactus. We used to get the real trees but they are just too much trouble for me. This one is fake and pre-lit:) It’s not fancy by any means but it’ll do. Hopefully we’ll get some presents under there soon so it won’t look so lonely.
What does your tree look and when do you put yours up?
That’s a cute tree. No surprise there with the cowboy hats, boots, and other items. Hahaha. Too cute!!

Very cool tree! We are going to cut ours next week. Would love to put it up earlier, but it dries out if we put it up too early. Used to cut them from the ranch when we lived down your way ~ there were great trees in those mountains.
OMG Lori your tree is SO CUTE! I haven’t put ours up yet, but we have some mini-ornaments that are cowboy inspired also. I love the hat on the top! :)
