See the Shine

I try very hard to take care of my hair and almost always use OJON. From time to time though, I switch out just to keep my hair from getting immuned. The other day I decided to buy Herbal Essences. I have never bought it before and I’ll tell you why. I always hated those commercials and because of that, I never allowed myself to try it. It’s extremely uncomfortable sitting in the living room with your 12 and 14 yr old boys when those ’sound like someone’s having sex’ commercials come on. And then all of the sudden I started seeing different commercials. It was a pleasant surprise to see something NOT related to sex on the tv, especially when it has to do with shampoo. Anyways, I bought it. I LOVE IT!! I bought the blue Hello Hydration bottles and it works soooooo well. I am very picky when it comes to shampoo because most of them don’t work but this set is great. The shampoo lathers very little. For those of you who don’t know this…the more shampoo lathers, the worse it is for your hair!!! For shampoo to lather a lot, it has to have unnecessary ingredients added to it. The conditioner is equally as great. It left my hair feeling like silk and not very many conditioners can do that for my hair, especially when you live where the water contains lots of calcium deposits. I tried to take a picture of my hair so you could see the shine. If I skip a day of washing, my hair feels and looks like horse hair. It gets very dry and frizzy. This picture represents 2 days without washing my hair and it looks good! I have to say that I am very impressed with the product but sincerly hope they don’t go back to those uncomfortable commercials. I would hate to have to quit using this great product.

This picture is dark because it’s midnight here and I took the picture myself. It’s very hard to take a picture of the back of your own head..lol. I’m sure you can see the shine a little bit though.

It looks great! I saw they came out with a line especially for long hair that I want to try. I can only wash my hair about twice a week or ir dries out pretty badly and frizzes.

I so agree. I hate my 13 year old daughter to hear those commercials. BTW your hair looks great!

Same here Leigh! You should give it a try. It’s cheap enough that if you don’t like it, you won’t lose much. In fact, you could always call them company and tell them you didn’t like it and who knows what they might do

Thank ou Megan I’m glad they changed the commercials. That kind of stuff is just immature in my opinion. Strawberry bread with strawberry butter?? Darn that sounds good!
