Cold Easter in the House

Well, our Easter was freezin’ cold and wet! We decided to have a small Easter in the house. Truett really doesn’t even understand it all but you should have heard him gasp with excitement every time he saw an egg! He kept sayin’, “BALL!”. We had so much fun and I know Truett really enjoyed the jelly beans!

We only colored a few and then Toby hid them all. Well, he really didn’t hide them but you know what I mean. See that pretty pink kitchen towel the eggs are on? I won that and some other goodies from Corrin’s giveaway she had She also sent a little duck that quakes and my son loves that thing. He was scared of it at first but now he carries it around going, “awwww, sweet”. LOL. Thanks Corrin for such wonderful things in the goody bag!

I’m in search of a toddler bed. I think our little man is ready for one and I’m on the prowl. I think we need a new bed as well. We love our memory foam mattress topper but oh how I would love an actual mattress!!! Both of our sides are sunk in. It’s pretty old and the people that had it before us had from when it was new! Anyways, if you know of a good toddler bed or where to find one at a bargain, lemme in on the secret.

Totally off the subject of Easter but..

I really love the idea of your utensil pail! I’ve seen it at the restaurant Lamberts but never thought of doing it myself…it would save me a drawer!
