Budweiser Horses, Whiplash, Random Cowboy

Branded by Lori | May 13, 2008 .

Intermission entertainment for all!  You’ve seen the Budweiser commercials, maybe you’ve even drank some Budweiser, but have you seen the Budweiser horses live in action?  If not, all you gotta do is attend the Western Heritage Classic because they are always there and always perform.

Keep in mind that I was close to the top of the convention center..not quite in the nosebleed section but not far off, so my photos aren’t too good.  I had my zoom lens out all the way and the flash just wasn’t bright enough.  In other words, don’t give me any flack over poor quality photos or I’ll ban you from my blog ;-0

Purty ain’t they?!  They’re HUGE too.

And who can resist men in green?  Once you go green, there ain’t no turnin’ back!

And there’s Whiplash, the cutest cowpoke around and on the fastest mount in town  I want one of my own….So freakin’ cute!  He was wranglin’ goats or something.

Finally we have a random cowboy photo.  Well, actually it’s David Ross of the Pitchfork Ranch.  He’s been there for years and is quite photogenic.  He’s in a lot of cowboy photos!  Good fella he is. I bet that ain’t water in that cup!

Don’t they have the Budweiser Clydestales at Busch Gardens in Virginia? I thought I remembered seeing them there one time that I went. They are beautiful!

My favorite part of the state fair is the draft horse hitches.

      That Whiplash is too funny!

I think that’s what they do. They travel cross country to perform so you probably have them there!

I’ve loved those horses since I was a kid and before I even knew what Bud was. They are beautiful!

I love these horses. I hope to someday ride one or at least sit upon one!

You know, growing up with horses all my life, I was still amazed the very first time I stood next to a draft horse of that size. They are truly amazing and beautiful animals.

Am I seeing a trend of men in green? First we had the good lookin’ men that work with your brother-in-law in green and now we have the good lookin’ Bud men in green. Be careful or Tyler is gonna to want to pose for your blog in a green shirt or somethin’…………LOL

And nope, sure wouldn’t be water in my cup either….

I think the Budweiser Clydestales are at all the Bud Brewing facilities as a tourist attraction. I think I remember on a visit to one in St. Louis, the tour guide said that they try to rotate some of the horses in these facilities to actually be some of those teams.

Hey! I’ve seen Whiplash at the little teeny Williams, AZ rodeo, the oldest rodeo in Prescott, AZ and even at the finals in Vegas. They are so cute!

Did you all see the Budweiser commercials for the Preakness. GO BIG BROWN! Those clydesdales are amazing animals. And you gotta give it to Bud - they do some fine raceday (horses AND Nascar) and SuperBowl commercials!

No surprise that the fastest mount is a Border Collie! Great pictures!
