WARNING FOUL LANGUAGE! You’re Fired!
Sorry the language folks but I’m pissed, I never say these sorts of words but sometimes you just gotta let it out! I’m apologizing for the language to my mother. I have a great deal of respect for her and I know she reads my blog.
Well, not you, but we are. We got fired this morning and I’ve done cried it all out, now I’m just f*****g mad! I’ve been married over 15yrs to a hard working, trustworthy man and NOT once has he been fired. Not even before he married me.
Why did he get fired? The reason is because the boss ”heard” that we looked into another job. Yep, that’s the reason. What do I think is the reason?? Because his son graduates this year and will need a steady full time job to support that baby of his. Yeah, I said it…his son has a kid and I bet you anything that they will put him here at this camp!
What really pisses me off is that the boss doesn’t even have the balls to have a real excuse! And you know why, because my husband doesn’t do anything wrong to create a real excuse so they have to go around find stupid reasons.
If we don’t find a camp job within the next few days, we will be moving to my father-n-law’s place (he’s in Kingsville riight now), around Abilene. In fact, we’re taking a load on Wednesday.
My final words just in case the foreman of LLano Partners, Boracho Ranch reads this (and I have a feeling they do)…
YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CHICKEN SHIT BASTARDS. GROW SOME FUCKING BALLS AND AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO GIVE A LEGITIMATE REASON OR THE TRUTH WOULD BE EVEN BETTER!

See, it never pays to be the good guy. You work hard. You do your job. Your honest and loyal and then you get kicked in the nuts. What the heck? I’m with you Lori, that sucks. I feel bad for your husband. I hope you find another camp job soon. How does that work? You should write a post about that. Maybe you did and I missed it.

Well hells bells! That sucks and yes he is a pussy, we always knew he was an asshole right? Rooster is a damn good man and damn good cowboy, God must have a better plan. That’s pretty damn shitty…….
Being an “at will” employer is something that is considered for every Texas employer. You don’t have a case as Terri mentioned earlier, it sucks but that’s the way it is. It’s too small of a business to get anything out of it.
Unfair! That’s always the worst. I hope the bigger and better thing on the horizon for your family comes quick. Sometimes the time between the rain and finding the silver lining is the hardest part.
