Apparently a lot so far. With a trip to NYC in January, Nashville in February and Austin in March, I think I’ll be busier than ever. I’m super excited about so many things that will be happening in 2009 that I’m that close to peeing my pants!
I hope to step up the quality of my [...]
WOW! What a year this has been! Some wonderful things have happened throughout this year, as well as some bad but it’s been a great ride. I look forward to seeing what 2009 brings for me, my family and my blogs!
I leave you with some past reflections of 2008.

I still can’t believe that ME, this ol’ country gal, was asked to be on the panel of speakers at the Blissdom Conference on Feb. 6 & 7! To be quite honest, I don’t feel worthy as there are some amazing and talented women that will be there, including Megan from Velveteen Mind who I [...]
And it’s over. But I thought I’d share some of our fun and goodies with ya over the next couple of days. Today though, well, is about me. I know, selfish….geez! Part two will be about the kids:)
I had so much fun seeing family this year. Maybe I’m getting old or [...]
Oh.My.Gosh. I drool a little bit every time I watch Elvis, especially when he looked this good. I get chills! Of course, I adore Martina…wish is was me sitting next to Elvis though:) (even if for pretend!)

Be back after the holiday!
Christmas is almost here but as for most, it won’t be much. We went with quality of quantity this year so one kid only has 2 gifts to open. Of course little man will make out this year but he’s two and was actually in need of some fun toys! A couple of things that [...]
I have this pretty leather-back collection of Louis Lamour books. It’s not the entire collection so I’m still trying to find the ones that I don’t have and get them added.
Anyways, the number one reason why these are special to me is because they were handed down to me by my Uncle. He’s always been [...]
What’s the holidays here, music is a must! We love to listen to music during this season, well I do for sure and getting my home ready for company will be so much more fun with the sounds of Il Divo. My mom loves the group as well as myself.
I have both “The Promise” and [...]

I can just see my family & friends rolling their eyes at this post but that is exactly why I’m writing it. To prove that I’m at least trying to find faith.
So, it was suggested by some friends of mine that I give “The Case for Christ” a read. A book about a journalist [...]
I’m getting better at this going green thing. Sommer from Green and Clean Mom, she’s always teasing me and bugging me about it (not in a bad way). What I need is to get a Green Irene to come on over to my house and show me how to save energy, conserve water, clean a [...]
I have many faves actually but this one is close to my heart because my son did the artwork at the age of 5. Most of my ornaments are western except for a few that are family ones handed down but that year I thought it would be fun to have the kids get creative. [...]
If you’ve been with me a while, then you’ll remember when I gave some adorable Ladybug shoes away that Tom Cruise’s own daughter wears. Well, you know what? Suri’s Ladybug shoes came from good friend of mine, Katja Presnal, a social media–PR sooopAstah! Katja’s store, Skimbaco is currently running some MAJOR discounts on some of [...]
