Advertise/PR

I have been blogging since Feb. 2007 and I have developed a readership that trusts me. They believe in me and know that I will do my best to help them achieve their goals on and offline. I take pride in that relationship with them.

ADVERTISING

Place an ad at A Cowboy’s Wife and be seen by thousands of moms/women in your target market. Advertising rates are low for the side bar 125×125 ads, and discounts for longer run times available.  Demographics can be found in media kit.

GIVEAWAYS

Giveaways create a ton of buzz and are among the best PR tools in the blogosphere.
Starting 2009,  if you want your giveaway to be scheduled at a certain week, it will be charged a placement fee due the recent high demand, so book it now.  Otherwise, all giveaways will happen on a first come, first serve basis which can be a long time due to demand.  A Cowboy’s Wife giveaways generate hundreds (sometimes thousands) of entries and is guaranteed great exposure.

REVIEW POLICY

If you are interested in having me review a product for your company, there are a few guidelines I have:

  • * Decisions to post are based on the quality and relevance of your product, the review of some products may not be posted because they simply do not fit with my readers or work for my family.
  • * I am dedicated to fun and family-friendly product reviews, keep it clean and relevant.
  • * I do require a sample for all reviews. The sample will not be returned, a review is not guaranteed, and you will be responsible for any shipping costs involved. I WILL not post your press release, so save us both some time on that one.
  • * I would prefer not to do high dollar reviews for items that must be returned, but please email me so that it can be decided on an individual basis.
  • * I am incredibly truthful in the reviews I post, and while I would never deliberately speak badly of a product, I do sometimes critique products just as I praise others. This offers balance and honesty in my reviews. If I feel that a product has not brought a satisfactory result, I will contact you before publishing my review.

EVENT/CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIPS

Conferences:

Have you considered the power of having your brand and product promoted at the top blogging events? At these events, your company can be brought directly to the most receptive audience. How can I provide you with a full scale plan of attack to take your brand to the masses?

  • * You’ll receive ad placement on both of my sites
  • * Feature blog posts about your company before and after the event, with highlights within any post mentioning the event
  • * I will live-Tweet any event, placing your company name frequently in the Twitter streams
  • * I’m willing to pass out any samples, literature or swag bags
  • * Wear your logo for the event
  • * Plan and host a sponsored event (ie, luncheon, room party, cocktail get-together) to raise buzz about your company

I do not charge for representing your company and helping you reach your target market, only fully covered event sponsorship, including per diem.  Book these events fast.  I am already booked for BlissDom (on the speaking panel),  SXSW, BlogHer and am negotiating Blog World. There are still other events available for 2009 and if you missed out on sponsorship for me  in 2009,  you can start booking for 2010!

Two recent events I’ve attended include Nestle (Stouffer’s) and Sea World.

Travel Destinations:

I like to promote anything travel related and frequently visit new destinations by myself and with my  family. I love to share my travel stories with my readers.  If you would like me and/or my family to visit your destination, I would be happy to share my travel experience with a large audience. You can learn more about me and my family on my About page.  The latest sponsored travel destination I attended was NYC–Times Square for a fun site seeing adventure (and a little business).  I also attended the red carpet event in LA courtesy of Frito Lay.

If you are interested in connecting with other influential mommy bloggers, A Cowboy’s Wife & My Wooden Spoon editor and owner Lori Falcon (ME), is someone who can create buzz for your product beyond this blog. I am inspiration to many, a consultant to some, and a friend to all.  I have over 4000 followers at Twitter.com, over 5000 total subscribers and am a trusted name in the world wide web. (Hate tooting my own horn by the way;)
