I am extremely unorganized these days. I have little paper notes everywhere except for where I need them, I have a calendar that has had water spilled on it, and my shopping list goes from my room-to the kitchen-to ???. I was recently introduced to Cozi, an online organizer all in one place. Now I’ve tried SEVERAL online organizers but I must say this one surpasses them all with features and quality. I fell in love with it instantly! Some of the things I used I right away included the:
- Calendar
- Journal
- Shopping List
THE CALENDAR
The calendar is not just any calendar, it’s a family calendar. You can actually put in important dates, notes, etc that are color coded with the name of the person it goes to. For example, in the pic:
We all have our own color which makes it easier to scan through appointments and know who has what. Even if you can’t remember the color, it’s above the calendar with the name of the person for easy reference. Here are the steps to adding an appointment or whatever you want to add:
- Double Click on the date.
- Screen pops up. Check the box for the person the appointment or note is for. I chose Toby, he is blue:)
- Fill in the who, what, when and where.
- Add in other notes and click SAVE!
Here’s what it looks like after you hit save.
As you can see, it has the time–the app–the note, and which family member (their color dot).
You can also just click once on the date, scroll down to the “type appointment here” box, enter the app. and hit enter! Very simple to use.
THE JOURNAL
Another favorite of mine. Do you have have those days where you just witness the most cutest thing that your 2 yr old did and want to write it down but don’t. Mainly because you’ll jot it on paper and then lose it right? Well, Cozi has a journal where you can quickly jot down things and it will have it saved for you. You can even add a photo to it if you want to mark the occasion.
Maybe you just need a place to write down what you ate if you are keeping track of that. OR you just need somewhere to silently vent about things. It’s super easy to do with Cozi’s built in journal.
THE SHOPPING LIST
Since you’re already using Cozi for all these other handy things, you may as well add your shopping list here too! You can add items and even cross them off the list if you want or completely delete them. AND, there are 3 different colored lists; groceries, wholesale, and other. Once you are ready to go shopping, you can actually have the list sent to YOUR PHONE!!! Or you can print it, what ever tickles your fancy. There is also a recipe of the day in the corner just in case you need a last minute idea for supper! FREAKIN’ LOVE IT!!!
IN CONCLUSION
There is so much that you can do with this online organizer. It’s extremely well done. It’s fast, easy to navigate, and it’s the only place you need to go to get organized! I absolutely love it and highly recommend you give it a shot because, in my opinion, this is something that should be paid for…not free!!!

Wow that is a great idea! I need one just like that. I have become the sticky note queen. Sticky here sticky there. If you look at my bag it’s filled with yellow square papers with lots of scribbles! hey that ryhmes! :) Great idea.
That is a really awesome idea! I’m the same way–Post It’s all over the place, my giant desk calendar has had water, coffee and candle wax poured on it and is on its last leg. I may have to check this out!

I just subscribed and downloaded Cozi last night and I’m impressed.
I was so far behind in work I couldn’t figure out where to begin and I got a headache thinking about it so I’d ignore it and get farther behind. After I went to Cozi I made a schedule of what needed to be done on what day and so far I’ve stuck to it since it’s hard to “forget” when you’ve got it staring you in the face on the corner of the computer screen.
