Football that is. I’ve had 3hrs of sleep and now it’s time to wake my oldest up, drive 16miles, and drop him off at two-a-days from 7:00am to 12:00am (5days a week). Ugh. I love football but hate the driving and with gas as high as it is (even with the recent drop), 64miles will add up quick!
This year, both my boys will be playing football, both a blackwell playing 6-man. Oldest is a freshman and middle son is 7th grade. I love to see them play sports, at least in these small schools anyways. The bigger schools get way to competitive, I know, I went to one.
Do any of you kiddos play sports? Which ones and what do dread the most about sports season?
P.S. I revamped the plug board and will be promoting a lot so now’s the time to get listed;)
P.S.S. I’ve also created a newsletter….read and consider signing up.

My oldest plays basketball, every season out there. The official season is winter but he also plays the spring, summer and fall league so basketball never ends!!! He is so excited about trying out for the middle school team this year!
Since I home school my three they don’t play in school sports. They used to play on a summer baseball league but don’t have time for that now that we show cattle all spring and summer.

This year I will have 3 in sports. I’m not sure how I will survive it. We have a 16 yr old in Select baseball and HS Golf Team and a 6 & 4 yr old in soccer. Really, we love it though. The gas cost involved, yeah, not so much.

Uh oh! Jon plays for Highland High and Brenden plays for Highland JH which means our boys will be playing against one another! The Hornet rivalry is on! It will be fun. We will get to see you and little man at the games! 6 man is definately the best, if nothing else it is entertaining! Gotta love West Texas football!! Go Hornets!
Oh heck yeah! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee football! With three boys, I get plenty of football time in. I’m sad because the 17 year old won’t be playing ball this year :( but the 12 year old will be playing junior high ball and the 10 year old will be playing city league football so I’ll have plenty of games to attend this fall! Even bought me a new bleacher chair yesterday at WallyWorld so I’m ready to roll!
As a Oklahoma cowboy’s wife and new blogger, I have to admit something: I am TOTALLY jealous of some of your witty word play on this blog. Writing for the brand, seriously, that is awesome!
Love your blog, I will be back.
A WordPress tutorial? I know Blogger but the other two are a huge mystery to me! My husband’s been looking at WordPress I’ll have to email this to him.
