I really appreciate everyone entering! While there were some great ideas, many of them are impossible for us to do.  We really don’t have anywhere to take the kids and the one person we would send them to….believe it or not, has the same anniversary as we do..lol! 

If I could have picked one specifically, it would have been Susan’s.  Her idea was…

 I know my hubby would give anything to have me all to himself for 24 hours. No interruptions of any kind.

I definitely think my husband would LOVE this one but it’s not possible especially since our kids are getting out early on that day:(  Soooooo, without futher a-do…..

I chose Andrea’s brisket idea.  One way to  a man’s heart is through his belly and I think this along with some other things, I’m sure to get “lucky”!

Or you could cook him a really nice beef brisket dinner with mashed potatos.

Since he will have to feed that day, my plans will go something like this:

• Clean the house up really good.  I know a man LOVES a clean house!
• While Truett is napping, throw in a quickie at lunch!…sorry mom and to my husband’s friends who read this!!..and to the rest of the men.
• Get the brisket and dessert going…no, I won’t be the dessert! I’m thinking about a pie.  He loves pie:)
• Shower and purty myself up a bit. 
• Have supper WHILE watching the rest of the series of Comanche Moon.  Not my pick but he would like that and the kids too. 
• Send the kids to bed, WAIT for them to fall asleep!…and ask him if he enjoyed the dessert and if he wants seconds;)

Not very romatic at all but we don’t have a whole lot of choices.  Our anniversary used to be about just the two of us but we have kiddos to think about and they are part of us afterall.  What a way to celebrate….me and him with the 3 most precious things in our life!

We don’t buy each other things very often but if I were to ask for something, it would be a piece of travelpro luggage for my camera set because tuggin’ that big carrying case around gets awful heavy.
