I got an email from this gal who thinks she’s holy-er than thou and if she was in front of me, I would slap her! Well, really I would open a can of whoop ass but you get the point. Of course, it’s an anonymous email, so she thinks. Here’s the email:
You run so many blogs that I don’t understand how you are able to be a good mother. I would imagine that your youngest is sitting in front of the tv all day so you can blog. Maybe you should focus more on your family than making money.
First of all, how dare you assume that I’m not a good mother and that I blog all day. Who in the hell you do you think you are?! My family has always been my priority and always will be. NO, my son does not watch TV all day. In fact, he is not even interested in what’s on television at all yet. We spend our time reading, coloring, playing, and cuddling. Not that it’s any of your business, here is my schedule…..
I blog from 5:00am to 7:30am before my youngest wakes up. During this time, I also get my 2 oldest up for school, get myself dressed, and make coffee. The little man is awake by 8:00am and we make breakfast, eat, play, and color til 11:30. He runs around the house playing with his toys while I make lunch for my man. We all eat, play some more, and then little man goes down for a nap at 1:00pm. This is when I get back to blogging. I blog until he wakes up, which is about 2 hrs. It’s just me and little man the rest of the day until the kids and husband come home to a hot meal and clean house. We do chores, homework, eat, play, bathe, and then get ready for bed. He goes down at 9:00pm. I stay up for an hour with my man just cuddling. Around 10:00pm, I start blogging until 1 or 2am and repeat it all again. There are a couple of days during the week that my man takes little man feeding with him. This does allow me to blog more if there are no house chores to be done. All in all, I’d say that my blogging has no interference with my family whatsoever!
Why did I explain this to you? Obviously it was killing you to know how I spend my day so I figure it’s easier to just tell you. I’ll just leave you with this before I say things that my husband hasn’t even heard come out of my mouth……………………….
IT IS COMMON FOR THOSE WHO ARE MOST SINFUL THEMSELVES TO BE THE MOST FORWARD AND FREE IN JUDGING OTHERS
those who hide behind anonymous comments are chicken shits….and you don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. it’s obvious that this person has some esteem issues, because that person is putting people down to make themselves feel good. now i usually curse like a sailor, but i’m just gonna say it politely lol ‘forget em’

I hate judgmental people. They always stick their nose where it don’t belong. I wouldn’t let her comment bother you.
The fact that she didn’t sign her name to it should mean she has an inkling that she was wrong to write it, at least I hope so, but she’s still judgmental and a chicken %^$% for creating the scenario in the first place. I was raised on the Golden Rule and you know what it still holds true for ALL ages.
You never have to explain yourself to trolls. One, they don’t really care what you say; all they care about it what they think, and Two: it’s really none of their business.
She’s really not worth the spike in blood pressure. ;)

LOL! Good for you! Guess I’m nosy cause I liked hearing about your day. You amaze me ~ there is no way I could get by without more sleep! And as for blogging, that’s “ME” and I’m a better Mom and wife when I get a little bit of “ME” time. You can gloat while your family is devouring your good homecooking (homemade tortillas ~ YUM!) and then don’t give her a second thought.
That lady sounds like a loser! And it will kill her to know that my two year old is watching Cliford the Big Red Dog right now. And then after that he will watch Super Why, it’s his favorite!!
She had no buiness saying that and was such a scardy cat to comment with out leaving her name. Why she would do that is beyond adult thinking.

I can’t believe that she did that, oh wait after some of the comments I have gotten I think I do.
Your right though the first to judge usually have something themselves to hide.
Oh, I just love those anonymous comments from people who are too scared to reveal their true identity. I think they purposely just go from blog to blog and find anything they can to complain about.

Obviously this person doesn’t have kids, or her time would have been consumed with them and not caring about your mothering skills. Suppose you worked out of the home? What would Truett be doing all day?
Don’t give her a second thought, everyone has to gripe about something. Keep doin’ what you’re doing, how you’re doing it.

Hi there! I was blog hopping from 5 minutes for Mom. And I saw this post. I just had to chime in :) I too have many blogs! I have a 6 yrs old and 3 months old little ones:) I blog a lot too but that doesn’t make me a bad Mom:) Anyway, chin up girl! And I love your post;)

Well by God if you need some help with that can of whoop ass you know I got your back! Let me tell you something ladies, I have seen Lori in action in the flesh and she is a great mom! Get off your high horse and worry about your own children. Or does this anonymous emailer even have children? Some people and not as bright as they think they are…….
That person obviously has no life outside of trying to make others feel bad. She’s probably jealous because she doesn’t have a great blog, 3 great kids, a supportive husband and the free time to spend with them. Keep your chin up and keep the blog entries going.

People act like it’s such a sin to make money online for one. It’s always great to have an extra income, especially when you have a family. Now what if you worked full time? Then what would she have to say?
People don’t realize that once you get the hang of blogging, you can just pour out content. When you’re not blogging you may come up with ideas of what to blog about and take mental or physical notes. There may be a few days where you can knock out a lot of entries and just have them scheduled to post while you’re spending quality time with your family.
Assumptions *pfft*.
