Bed in a Box
Have you had the chance to lay on a memory foam mattress? OH MY GOSH! It’s like heaven. When I was pregnant with Truett, I had horrible hip pain. I tried sleeping in the recliner, on the sofa, and with pillows propped all around me but nothing worked. Then, I purchased one of those 4 inch ones. Man, what a lifesaver. We were shopping the other day and I got the chance to plop down on an acutal memory foam mattress with foundation. Words can’t express the joy of my mind and body when I was laying there. I told my husband that we would have to get one those puppies someday. Of course, on a cowboy’s wages, things like that are a luxury and will fall last on the list. Come to think of it…we’ve never bought a mattress. They have always been given to us–not there’s anything wrong with hand-me-downs but it would be nice to have a brand spankin’ new mattress!

I’ll give two thumbs up for the Tempur-Pedic mattress! We’ve been married for 20 years and this spring we bought one of these. Oh my! Words cannot describe how much we love this mattress. Expensive? You bet! Ouch! But, oh so worth every cent! It’s the best purchase we’ve ever made. We looked for a mattress for a long time. Good thing because it gave us time to save up for the Tempur-Pedic. We almost bought a Sleep Number bed. So glad we didn’t. Now when we crawl into bed, it’s like crawling into a piece of heaven!
I’ve heard those were good! I really do hope to get a nice mattress one day. A good mattress can make a huge difference in how you sleep. They’re just a little pricey.
