Breakdown
Our truck, not me. We took our oldest to go work with his Uncle at the Spades. On our way back, we started hearing some crazy noises under the truck. Since we didn’t have a clue what it was, we decided to keep on a truckin’ and thankfully we made it all the way to his other brother’s house. Come to find out, the transfer case oil was empty which caused all sorts of little problems with the gears and such.
What’s the lesson to be learned here? When you tell the oil people to service your FOUR WHEEL DRIVE truck, you better make dang sure they do it right! We knew the last 2 services we had done at SHELL in VAN HORN were not done correctly because we checked to see if they had greased our front end. Did they? NO. But did we say anything? NO. Oh, I wanted to but my husband told me to leave it alone. Well, you know if they weren’t greasing the front end, then they probably weren’t filling the transfer case with oil either! Freakin’ idiots! ALWAYS WATCH THEM PEOPLE!
Aside from all that, we had a great time. I’m very tired. I have no DP, no Propel, no espresso machines, and no beer. I guess I’m just gonna have to drink plain ol’ water….GAG. I’ve got 419 emails to go through, 3 blogs to update, and 217 updates in my google reader. I’d say I better get to it while the young’un is takin’ a nap. Later
BEFORE THE BREAKDOWN……

AFTER THE BREAKDOWN AND COMPLETELY CLUELESS……

You know I have given up on anyone changing the oil in my Ford 4 wheel drive pickup except the people at the Ford house. I’m so tired of people not knowing what they are doing in these little grease spots on the side of the road. I should have just taken it to the Ford house all this time. It’s not as convienent but the cost is about the same but I know that I’m getting the job done right!
THIS is why I am glad I married a mechanic!
