My goal is to lose weight, get toned, feel great inside so I can be a better person for myself and family.

The Your Shape game looks interesting and fun (and a bit scary…wonder what I’d look like on the screen).:-)

  2. says

i just bought a wii yesterday, it’ll be delivered tomorrow. i got it for the wii fit but i’d love to try this game also.

i’m currently undergoing chemotherapy and can’t go anywhere germy like gyms or classes and it’s a bit bad weather to work out outside so my goal is to maintain at least some of my muscle strength with some low key indoor exercise while i’m undergoing my treatment.

  3. says

Goals: To get off my butt more and moving. I really just need to do a better job of moving, and I’d like to have some definition/tone again. We bought Wii Fit Plus in hopes that I’d set up some kind of workout, but after working out in a gym my entire life or cross country running, it fails at engaging me, and I just feel like I’m moving, not exercising. This looks much more personalized and like an actual challenge.

  4. says

My goal is to lose 20-25 lbs, lose the excess and get healthier overall before my husband and I start trying for a family. I’ve seen the commercials for the game and it caught my eye, but we just haven’t had the extra cash.

  5. says

I’ve gained extra pounds whilst working at my desk job the last several years. I would like to reverse that…

My goal: Get up & move (A LOT)

I’m also a bit of a geek — I’m very interested in the movement tracking technology of this “game”.

  6. says

My goal is to lose 35 lbs. I’ve had 2 babies in 3 years an it has taking its toll, plus we have A LOT of diabetes in the immediate family. I started 2 weeks ago and have lost 10lbs already, amazing all with no cravings! I can’t believe how much more energy I have now that I am eating right and I’m ready to begin the exercise portion. With 3 kids and a husband who works 12 hour days, exercising outside the home just isn’t an option (none of you facilities offer any type of childcare) I’ve had my eye on Jenny for a while, but just can’t justify spending the money on it, since eating healthy is already making a hit in our budget!

    Thanks for offering this giveaway!
and good luck to everyone on their healthy lifestyle changes!

  7. Heidi S says

I would love to lose about 20 pounds and to get toned and stronger. I have been wanted this work out for the Wii for awhile now I think its great since you don’t have to stand on a board the camera picks up your moves.

  9. Sue says

This game looks so cool. I’ve seen ads for it and would love it. I’m trying to maintain my weight but tone up, so I think this would really help!

  10. Amy Brewer says

I would love to shed some pounds and tone my body up to what it used to look like before kids. Heck, I don’t even have to get down to that size. Maybe just a couple jean sizes would make me happy. I have been wanting to try this out.

  11. says

My goal is to lose weight and get to a healthy weight. I refuse to go back to the doctor and be lectured about my weight again! Plus, being comfortable in those summer clothes would be wonderful.

  12. Carol says

tell me your goals in terms of weight loss, getting fit, toned or whatever they are. And what do you think of the Your Shape game? Have you seen it yet?

I have not seen the game yet, hope I win. As far as my weight goes, I have had 5 babies, and it is VERY hard to stay fit, toned, and motivated. My goal is to get into my clothes that used to fit, and to feel better about myself. Thanks for the chance to win.

  13. Aaron says

  14. Rose says

The Your Shape game looks wonderful and it really seems like it is a good way to keep on track with getting fit. My goals are to lower my blood pressure and to also watch what I eat to keep my diabetes in check. I am writing on behalf of my significant other. He is 24 years old and an amazing individual. My dad told me the other night that people like him aren’t very easy to find in this day and age. To fill you in, hi bio- he has always been a good big brother to his younger sister and caring son to his mother and has also been a rock in everyone’s life path he has crossed. He played basketball, track, and football in high school and was loved by his teammates and his coaches. He plays in his church softball league and they love the young wind and spirit he brings to their team. He went on to college and played football for 3 more years until he became injured. In the spring semester of his senior year he went and studied abroad internationally. While he was away he spoke to his dad on the phone (he was calling to wish his mother a happy mother’s day) and he noticed something seemed wrong with his dad. He called his mother’s cell phone to warn her and when she returned home from church she found his father unconscious and he died 5 days later. The doctors gave him the wrong medication. It has been 2.5 years since he lost his dad and he has internalized all of his grief and pains. Yesterday he admitted to me that he is depressed and has been for some time now (despite the fact he still has been continuing to smile for everyone and work hard at his job and in his relationships). He said he just can’t take it anymore (holding his feelings of sadness and desperation inside). His father in his later life suffered from diabetes among other issues and had a hard time keeping his weight down. Because of these facts my boyfriend worries about his own fate in regards to health. Since his football career ended he has gained 50 pounds and worries about his health constantly. I bought him the Wii for christmas as a way to incorporate his love of video games with a more active and healthy approach. Although this game seems to be geared more to a female crowd, I know he would enjoy doing some of these personalized exercised with me. It is really hard to get him motivated to be active so when I saw this sweepstakes I thought that it would be worth a try to sign up for and give it a try in our place.

Truthfully I have not seen this game before as I do not watch much TV or know much about the video game world, but I will say as part of the plan to bring back mental health and wellness to our household (to help him and support myself) my boyfriend and I are starting a holistic plan to help bring happiness back into our lives. We are planning to eat healthier by cooking at home more and incorporating more fruits and vegetables, we are trying to workout at least 3 times a week and go for walks outside together when we can, get more sleep, read books on depression together, attend therapy, and become more involved in our communities.

I go back to graduate school next week and I am worried about my boyfriend being alone during the evenings and weekends–especially with the news of his depression. I think that this game would really make it easy for him to work on his weight goals in a way that seems familiar to him- in the home and in the form of a game. He cannot motivate himself right now if it is just for himself, but a game or competition works better.

Thanks for taking the time to read our story and good luck to all other people out there who are trying to realize their health and wellness goals.

I would love to lose 20 and work on getting pregnant. I want to be healthy! I want to walk up stairs without being tired after wards! I have an elliptical that I never use and I have the Wii Fit but get bored with it. I think the camera on the “Your Shape” is what appeals to me. It’s all about accountability!

I’ve always had a problem with my weight but last year I had an unusually difficult time, while trying to lose weight before my wedding in august I got hurt at work and broke my coccyx. Being out of work and confined to a couch for 3 months made it almost impossible to eat right and exercise. I’ve had back problems since and just recently got a wii to try to help my recovery. I’ve seen commercials for Your Shape and I believe it would be an awesome aid in helping me lose some weight, get fit and healthy so I can be the new wife I want to be.

I checked out the game’s site, and this game looks like a super way for me to get some exercise in while having some fun with my 3 yo!

  75. Sally Sundeen says

My goal is to lose another 30 pounds. I have lost 30 since March…slow but steady. I want to be able to be more active for my daughter and for myself. I don’t get to move as much as I would like and this would be a great way to get in shape and continue the weight loss. THanks for the chance to win. Your Shape looks amazing and it is so great that it comes with a camera to monitor your posture and position. That is where I tend to have trouble my back isn’t straight enough or I am not aligned with the floor like I should be. I think Jenny really hit gold with this one. This is what we all need…an at home trainer!

My goals in terms of fitness are to eat healthier as well as have a more common exercise regime. I am currently in college, living in an apartment, and have little to no time to do exercise outside of my home. It would be great to have a “game” such as this to help in exercising at home! I have been trying to eat more fruits and veggies, as well as make more smoothies to aid in my weight loss goals (trying to lose 10 pounds!)
I’ve seen the “game”..one of my friends has it and LOVES it! It seems to actually work too, considering she told me she uses it at least every other day!

My goals are to increase my physical activity and eat better. I’ve upped my worlouts from 20 mins to 40 mins but I’m having trouble cutting out junk food. I think this game is innovative and motivational.

I need to lose a serious amount of weight. I’m far too sluggish now, and feel less well than I know I can.

I gained some weight after being in a car accident a few years ago. It’s also much harder for me to lose weight now than it was when I was younger. This looks like a really great way to help me get healthier and to tone up, too. I love that I can do this in the privacy of my own home without feeling self conscious.

I want to tone up. Could lose maybe 5 lbs but really want to tone up. The included camera for this game is great idea in fitness! Thanks for the giveaway!

My goal is to drop 30 lbs by the end of the summer. It would really make a huge difference for me. I have seen this workout game–have not tried it yet. But it looks fun and I love Jenny! Thanks so much.

OH MAN, I want this sooo bad! We got a Wii for the kids at Christmas, and love it. I’m in the process of quiting smoking, and trying to get healthy again, and this would really help! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!

We use the wii everyday to stay in shape. I would love the your shape game. I have heard of it, but haven’t seen it at any stores around me!

It’s important to me to be fit enough to participate in hiking and other active summer activities. This is the first I’ve heard of the Wii game. It looks fun!

  103. Tim says

I do not need to lose weight. I do need to tone things up.
We are thinking of getting a Wii and this looks like fun.

I want to tone up. Fiance wants to lose weight. We are getting married in November and need to be fit by then. We joined a gym and are each others motivation. So we need this for those days we don’t feel like leaving the house.

I have been making half-hearted attempts to lose weight and get in shape for some time now. I always start out good only to peter out after awhile. My daughter just bought a Wii, I know seeing myself right in front of my face with 60 extra pounds would be the highest motivation ever!

  106. S Carter says

My goal is to lose 20 lbs. I want to tone my stomach and arms. I have only seen the commercials for MyShape, I like that is personalized.

  107. R Hicks says

My goals are to shed about 15 lbs and to improve my muscle tone by the beginning of summer. So far I am on my way to that goal by dieting and doing aerobics 3 times a week.

The game is very nice and a good motivator for sure

My hubs and I both decided that we need to get in better shape this year, him from his car accident and me… because I need to lose 20 lbs in order to be healthier. It’s taken me a long time to figure out that I’m just not living as healthy as I could be and because of my heart, the 20 extra lbs I’m carrying around isn’t very good for me. I’ve seen the Your Shape game and I think it will be a good place to start since I can see myself doing the exercises!
