Fightin’ Fire
My brother-in-law and his crew (that’s family for you city folk) are currently fighting fire at the ranch they live on. It’s dangerously close to their house and I can only hope that it doesn’t get too close for comfort. There were 3 or 4 spots where the fire originated so arson is a possibility. He sent us these pictures via cell phone so the quality is lacking but you can definitely tell what’s going on.
When we lived at the JA’s, we fought a many of fires ourselves. It really was sad to see those cows all burnt up but I had to be thankful that it didn’t reach us or the any of the families.
Your ‘crew’ is in my thoughts and prayers.
