Give Me a Kissimmee Vacation and I’ll Kissimyou!
I’m fortunate enough to have some wonderful opportunities to travel but they are all without my family, which breaks my heart every time I leave. I’m thinking it’s time for a family vacation and was told about Kissimmee Florida. Now I’ve been to Florida before back in my younger years but I still remember it because it was fun. I saw manatees, went swimming in the ocean, and even got stung by a jellyfish!
What I like about Kissimmee Florida though, is that there are kazillions of activities for EVERYONE so that you could turn it into a true family vacation and many activities are free so it can be quite frugal depending on what you want to do. For example, my brother LOVES golf and happens to be pretty darn good at it. I love it too. I’m not good at playing it but I do love to watch and of course drive the golf cart if I have the chance. My 12yr old happens to really like golf so I should hook him and my brother up huh! Anyways, Kissimmee has some beautiful courses that Jack Nicklaus has played on so you know you’re gonna tee off on some lush, green grass. Gosh, I make myself want to play and who wouldn’t want to play where the professionals play huh!!

Water parks!!! Who doesn’t like water parks right? Great for kiddos but it’s funny to watch the adults because you know they are having just as much fun! Let me tell you a secret. My man is deathly afraid of rides at amusement parks. Seriously people. He actually will be the only one holding on to the pole in the middle on the umbrella Ferris wheel. *rolling eyes* But water parks don’t twist you around upside down so he would have a blast taking our toddler through this gigantic water jungle gym!

FREE things to do in Kissimmee include fishing at Lake Tohopekaliga, Wild Life areas & bald eagles nestings, and of course Old Town which is what I would enjoy the most probably. I’m so in to shopping and live entertainment. Just simple, relaxing fun!
There are literally hundreds of free things to do in Kissimmee, Florida. The “The Friendly Soldier City,” Veteran’s Park pays tribute to all veterans, and is a great way to educate your kids. There are several free museums to visit and even the paid ones cost very little.
My husband has a vacation this year. It will be the first real vacation time he’s every gotten. I mean, he takes weekends off sometimes but we’ve never had a family vacation for longer than 2 days I guess. What a treat this place would be huh? I’ve read and researched a lot of places but this one is at the top of my list at the moment. I’m not just saying that because this is a sponsored post by the way. There are SOOOO many things to do that it makes the choice really easy actually. I still have some researching to do and comparing of prices but for what you get, I think it will be all worth it.
Right now you can enter to win a trip to Kissimmee, Florida for a fun vacation!! Kissimmee is giving away three (3) weekend getaways (3 days/2 nights) for two (2); and two (2) weeklong vacations for four (4). Drawings will be held on or around 4/15/09 and 5/21/09. It’s worth entering so take a minute to do it. Or don’t and leave a better chance for me to win!
OVER TO YOU
Have you been to Kissimmee, Florida? If so, what were your favorite parts about it? If not, does it look like a place you would go? Lemme hear ya!

I have never been there myself, but I am very intrigued! We are also looking at potential vacation spots within the next year. My husband would LOVE the golf feature for sure. I love the frugal aspects you tied in, of course.
I will be entering, wish me luck!!

We stayed in Kissimmee once when we went down to Disney and it was great! Like Kimberly, I like the name. :) Haven’t been to Florida in a long time – this is making me want to go!
Oh I’ve stayed in Kissimmee several times, it really is great! Close to everything! Even the Kissimmee airport is nice! I’m definitely heading over to enter to win – we have annual passes to Disney so we could definitely use it!
My husband and I were there nearly 15 years ago, and enjoyed a trip to nearby Gatorland :) Also enjoyed Sea World and Universal Studios.

I just entered this contest. I would very much like to win. On June 8th, 1979 I was born in Kissimmee Florida. I dont remember alot about it but I do remember that it snowed one time and I remember going to the beach one time. My mother moved me to Indiana when i was quite young. I would also like to win because I have never met my real father and I hear Kissimmee is where he resides. I am about to turn thirty years old and think this would be wonderful gift to visit my birth place and possibly meet my father.
