Jayson Jones

As I mentioned earlier, my husband when to Colorado to see our good friend Jayson Jones.  He went to study under Jayson who happens to be a bit and spur maker, and a very good one at that.  He does beautiful work and has shared his spur making knowledge with my husband and has gone above and beyond to help him out when he first started this new ”hobby”.  Thank you Jayson, you are very kind to share:)  We appreciate your kindness very much and are grateful to have a friend like you.

What you might not know about Jayson, is that he also sings (and plays the guitar).  In fact, he has his own cd out that you may be interested in.  I have never heard him sing until my husband came home tonight with Jayson’s CD in hand, titled “COWPOKE“.  Now this is real cowboy music folks!! This is the kind of singing you would hear by the campfire along with some good ol’ cowboy poetry.  I was very surprised when I heard him singing ’cause I’ve never looked at him as a singer, only as a cowboy.  The music was wonderful and spirtual as well.
