Christmas is almost here but as for most, it won’t be much. We went with quality of quantity this
year so one kid only has 2 gifts to open. Of course little man will make out this year but he’s two and was actually in need of some fun toys! A couple of things that he doesn’t have are boots and jeans but we’ll probably hit the stores after the holiday to get that stuff and any other hot deals.
Speaking of shopping after Christmas, are you planning on doing any? Would it help if you had a $100 Walmart Gift Card? heehee

I would shop the after Christmas sales and get a new coat for a needy child I know. (We already got the family some things for Christmas.) I’m sure I could think of some good things to use the money for.

I would totally get some Christmas decorations for next year, on clearance, of course! This would be great to have in my hand after the holidays!
I would have to get my wife some new plates! It seems she always complains about her plates not matching….
I would love to get a bicycle with that giftcard! I really need to get my butt back in shape!
I would spend it on what I buy most at Wal-Mart: diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and formula. Oh, and those adorable Star Fruit that I can’t find anywhere else around here!
I would get groceries- my husband is about to get laid off temporarily from work and we could use a boost!
I would probably use it to buy our fishing licenses and some bait! Oh, and probably diapers too!
Just random kitchen stuff–drinking glasses, placemats, napkins, dish towels, Stuff like that.

I would buy new pants! I have been on a weightloss goal with my good friend for 3 months and have lost 20 pounds. problem is now all of my pants are too big… I walk around work constantly hiking them up, which is oh so attractive!!

When shopping’s done… or thought it was,
There’s still some special things to buy
For my dear elves and the Big Guy!
I need some hats and scarves and gloves…,
And blankets which the reindeer loves,
Santa sure worked hard this year,
And homemade soup will make him cheer,
The elves are those that shoveled snow,
and drove me where I had to go,
They helped me wrap, and shopped for bows,
And hid the gifts where no one knows!

I would stock up food. That is my resolution is to save even more $$# weekly!!!
well of course we are reading! Hmm, I think if I were to win this Walmart gc I would just use it on the regular household stuff that I always buy at Walmart. Holidays deplete some of the regular funds and we need to stock back up on cleaning stuff, paper goods, cat food, kitty litter, health & beauty – you know just those everyday things.

I’d get my lil guy a new MP3 player. His fell apart on us and he got new headphones but no player to use them with :(. I’d try to find it in yellow (his color0 but if not, I don’t think he’d mind too much. He’s a big a music hound as his mom(s).
I’d also check into some batteries for his new V Tech camera. He’s gonna wear those things down pretty quick.
After that I’d go hunting for something artsy for my Diva’s bday coming up 12/30.
I’d burn the rest on nerd gear for Gryff. Peanuts, Star Wars, etc.

Oh, I would love to win a Walmart giftcard! I’m currently “hosting” a momma kitty and her 4 kittens – she’s a stray that learned how to use my dog door! – and they are eating me out of house and home! I’d use the card to stock up on huge bags of Friskies seafood flavor, seems to be the only one they all like! That would get me 7 or 8 bags, enough to last me til I can find them all homes!
I’d probably spend it on essentials but I’d really like to spend it on just “whatever” I want to – LOL

Hey there! I recently found your blog via 5 Minutes for Mom and I subscribed shortly thereafter. I’m impressed by how productive you are and also amazed by how you have fostered such a loyal following in a short period of time. Congrats!
In the past, I haven’t been a huge fan of Wal-Mart (too crowded, too cluttered, etc.). But we recently went to our local one – and I was quite impressed. It was much cleaner and brighter than I remembered. I’m not sure if that’s just “our” Wal-Mart or not…
Anyway, I think I’d spend the money on a bedding set for our 2-year-old daughter’s room…and she needs some new socks too.
