Since St. Patrick’s Day is coming around quickly, we’ve been making all sorts recipes; everything from pot of gold treats to shamrock pie. Since the weather is warming up here in Texas, we wanted to cool things down a bit and decided to make this super easy Lime Sherbert Cooler. It’s the easiest thing to make and kids love it! Truett helped with the scoops, I poured the drink, and we topped off with Reddi-whip!
Recipe: Lime Sherbert Cooler
Ingredients
- Lime Sherbert (I use Great Value)
- Ginger Ale
- Reddi-wip (optional but man it’s tasty!)
Instructions
- Scoop sherbert into glass, as many as you want.
- Pour in ginger ale.
- Top with Reddi-wip!
Enjoy y’all!
P.S. I was told that I spelled Sherbert wrong, that it should be Sherbet. LOL Well, I decided to google it and we both are right, although I Sherbet is the most common used. Oh well….

If I liked lime I’d totally be making this. P.S. I call it “sherbert” too and recently learned it’s suppose to be spelled “sherbet without the extra r”. Who knew? lol

I know right? When I was doing my pink sherbet post the stupid spell check kept going red when I wrote sherbert. I had to google the word to figure out why it kept telling me it was spelled wrong. I’ve called it sherbert my entire life!
A Cowboy's Wife says
See, mine didn’t got red but I did google the dictionary and updated the post at the bottom…we both are right! ;)

My Grandma actually recommended something like this to ease my morning sickness. She used 7Up. It was too sweet to calm my nausea, but my son has a new favorite treat! It is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day…which is his birthday!
A Cowboy's Wife says
I have to say, it did make my sore throat feel GREAT! LOL :) Let me know if your fella enjoys it as much mine and tell him Happy Birthday!
