My New Dell Mini 9 Laptop!
One of the perks of being one of Walmart’s Eleven Moms, is meeting other PR firms through them like Dell! And that’s where this cute lil fella came from. It’s the Dell Mini 9 laptop and it is sooooo adorable! Mine came in white and I’ve been wanting one every since it came out and my mom told me about it.
I’ve been wanting it for travel mainly. When I went to blogher, it was such a pain to carry a purse, laptop bag, swag bag, etc so being able to throw this in my purse is gonna RAWK! It will be especially handy at the airport as well for all the upcoming conferences that I’ll be attending. WOOT!
The only real drawback in my opinion is that they don’t come with a cd-rom drive but for me, that’s no big deal. I rarely use one anyways and if you find that you absolutely need one, you can buy a portable one that hooks up to the USB port. Another plus is the price! Computers are getting fairly cheap for the most part but you can’t beat a price tag of $350 for a powerful little portable pc! This one has XP..thank goodness because I honestly can’t stand Vista at all.

This looks nice. Thanks for sharing about the CD drive and how to get one. Never had a laptop and want to get one with income tax return, usually get mine in Feb since I do it really quick and online.
I have windows XP professional on the computer we got on loan from homeschooling company. One more year and it goes back.
I so want one of those and I have been hinting around to hubster and family. Would love one so I can move from room to room and not be “wired” on my desktop. It is so cute! Go Dell!

I have one of these. It was a late night purchase from QVC… no lie… I love love LOVE it! Fits in my purse. I got the white cover and then proceeded to put a bunch of stickers on it. I have my Alltop and PBS colors showing. haha!

I was eying something similar at Costco last night for around $300. I don’t NEED it, but if I’m going to be going to conferences for the Izea Insider program next year, it would come in VERY handy.

Oh wow!! You’re sooo fortunate Lori! Have fun with it! ;) Hope you’re feeling better.
