Because the terrain in the background of one of the photos reminded me of northern New Mexico (near Raton).

these are fabulous pictures! I especially love the one of your sons.
And wow… it sure looks different where I am in northeast Saskatchewan Canada… replace all the brown in your pictures with white snow and replace the horses with snowmobiles and you might come close!
