Many of you asked the status of Okatai and I am sad to report that he had to be put down. Because of the severity of his wound on his right leg, it caused him to put too much weight on his left, which lead to other problems. I won’t go into details but I will say that he was in severe pain, unable to stand and we could not bare to see that at all.
Rest in peace Okatai.

WAH! Poor baby, but at least he’s not hurting anymore. I’m so sad. I’m one of those people who cries when the horses die in movies, not so much people. So sorry to hear this.

Oh no! That is so sad! I was really hoping he would have gotten all better. Those little ones always heal fast!! But if it started other leg issues in the left leg, then it probably was the right thing to do. I bet he is happy running around now!!
