I couldn’t understand how Google give their rating for PR. I just hope there are some guidelines to it. I keep on working on my PR and it’s hardly show any improvement. I want to know what am i doing wrong.

I think the page rank system is about as fair as it can get under circumstances, but it is a pain-a constant battle.

I really don't like the PageRank system. I think that it means absolutely nothing in terms of the useful information, or how good a website actually is. It seems that you are better off pushing out worthless repeated information with keyowrds targeting than actually being created. It's a shame that people give so much value to a page's PR, despite the fact that it is more often than not, incorrect and totally dispensable. Jim's last blog post..Sunday Link Love & Announcements

The comfort zone seems to be very important, especially for new readers. They may have no interest in the SEO value, they just want to know if it's a trustworthy site or not.
