Please, go do something
The deer hunters have been out for the past week so my husband has been unable to work in his shop in the late evenings. He can stay pretty busy until dark and then after he’s rested in the house a bit and watched some TV, he usually goes out to the shop and works til 11 or 12. BUT, since he can’t go to the shop, he is starting to bug me. He wanders around the house, uses MY computer time, and CLEANS??. You would think I would love the cleaning part but I don’t. It makes me feel like I’m not doing my job right and then I feel like I have to get up and clean too. And after cleaning and playing with Truett all day, the last thing I want to do is clean. Anyways, I’ve also gotten some lessons in welding. (I would actually love to go out there and try to build something but I’m scared of the welder.) He explained what a pain it is to do the clean up after cutting something. He wishes he had one of those plasma cutters. He explained how plasma cutting is sooooo much easier to do and the cleanup is a breeze. Of course, all I can think about is that those things are $2000 and up and we just can’t do that right before Christmas. Hopefully, he can get one soon and hopefully the hunters leave soon so he can go build something and stay off my computer:)

Hoh boy, do I sympathize!
My husband lost his job and has been home all day for a few days. I don’t do dishes all day, ya know? I let them pile up until there’s a sinkload, ya know? But he is always clearing out the sink and putting the dirty dishes in the counter. I am always putting them right back in the sink, because I need my counter space, and it isn’t to store dirty dishes! So the dishes go in and out of the sink a few times a day, lol!
I pray he gets some work soon!
my husband works at a university, and we are approaching Christmas break with all the joys and not-so-joyous aspects of that downtime. i’m with you ladies, hobbies are really important!!!
