Another school function means another dollar (or $10) out of our pockets. We need to save money but eating at home so that means I have one hour to get dinner done and eaten before we head out the door. I have a few ‘go-to’ meals for nights like this, do you?
I always keep those bags of Tyson chicken on hand and instead of taking the time to saute mushrooms, I went with Progresso’s Creamy Mushroom.
This cuts out the time I would have needed to saute mushrooms, which gives us more time to get cleaned up after eating. We keep quite a bit of the Progresso Soups on hand since it’s just me and my cowboy during the days. It’s a nice, frugal lunch for us and a very nice change from a typical sandwich and they are hearty enough to fill us up. My husband wanted me to use this mushroom soup to make scalloped taters..I told him next week! By the way, this can had Boxtops! Save them and give them to your school! Enjoy!

Love progresso soups, great thinking cause we buy mushrooms by the crate it seems, total time saver. Are the brussel sprouts fresh or frozen?
