Hi! farmnwife again. My dh and I went to San Antonio a few weeks ago. These are some of the sites we saw. It had been a long time since I had a vacation. Even longer without the kids. Poor dh had meetings during the day. I got to run and explore by myself. It was so fun.

You can take a river tour. The guides are very entertaining. We took the night tour, which I recommend.

Statue of St. Anthony, the city’s patron saint.

Many hotels and restaurants along the river.

And of course, the Alamo. I did take these pictures. I was surprised how well they turned out.

Close up of the Alamo. The building is much smaller in person than you think. No need for a magnifying glass with all these beautiful visuals! If I post again, I’ll show you more pictures that turned out really neat. farmnwife

Andrea’s last blog post..*****DONKEY UPDATE******
We were in San Antonio about 10 years ago but missed the Alamo. Gee, the architecture is very Italian but those pictures of the riverside are so very English. A small world !
