San Fransisco Here I Come But in What?

Every time I go to an event, whether it’s rodeo or Blogher, I freak out about what to wear.  Oh, it’s easy when you’re skinny ’cause you fit into anything and it all looks good.  But when you’re a fat girl, it’s pure hell to try on clothes.  Not to mention exhausting.

I’m going shopping again this weekend to see if I can fit my fat butt into anything.  My stomach will hopefully be squished into some Spanx!

Know of any fat girl shops???  I would love to know!

  1. I am a BIG (22/24 thank you) girl. I love Catherines and Avenue. Both always have coupons and big girls working there. I hate Fat people stores with skinny bitches behind the counter (HELLO Lane Bryant do you hear me?!?!?!?!)

Right now Catherines has a take an extra 40% off the clearance price sale.

  2. That’s so awesome that you’re getting to go to Blogher!! I don’t know if you’re anywhere near a Dillard’s, but, I was just in one today and they had some really cute things for us big girls! A little pricey, but, they have lots of good sales, too! I got Levi’s shorts for only $15! So if you do some good digging around you might find some good deals there. Good luck! Shopping is definitely a PITA when you’re big….ugh…

  3. Oh thanks ladies!! I look them both up!

  4. I do Lane Bryant (believe me, all the stores I shop at have the adorable big girls working thankyouverymuch, lol) and Torrid. Both can get expensive – but I shop the clearance racks mostly. You can also check online on eBay for their stuff. Lanes has more Gap-like (casual) stuff and Torrid is more colorful with sparklies and skulls although they have more subdued stuff also.
