Unless you’re like me and plaster your kids all over your blog, you want to be able to share those cute photos or videos of your little one, then you MUST check out BabySpot.com.  They have really made it a social network hot spot for parents to converse and share with people alike, family, and friends.

You can:

• Upload your photos and videos
• Join the chat room and talk with others
• Create your own group to share news, etc
• Create an event
• Keep a journal or even a blog!

And all this can be private or public, your choice! I actually love this part because I have several family members *AHEM* sister-in-laws that don’t like their children’s picture all over the Internet so this would be perfect for them.  I HOPE YOUR GIRLS ARE READING THIS!  It would be nice to be able to see how the kids are growing up or that special moment like walking, a cool cheer, or just a sweet photo of them in their innocents.

All the features are wonderful but my faves are creating an event and a group.  I really love the concept of that.  Within a couple of minutes or less, you are signed up and ready to share.  I went through the entire process with ease and am looking forward to really putting it to the test;)

P.S.  A couple of suggestions to you guys:

1. On the events calendar, I would love for it act as that but also a reminder.  You know, like a place where I can add birthdays of nephews and nieces so that I don’t forget.  And possibly with an email reminder that it’s coming up;)
2. Categories—Definitely something needs to happen there.  The only category was other and I would like to see it broken down.  For example: “First time parents” perhaps?
3. An about me section would be great.  I filled out the profile but there wasn’t a place for me to put something about me or what ever.  It would be nice to have that when adding friends and family and making new friends with other BabySpot members.
