Remember the cool ranch brands that I talked about a while ago? Well, we also saw the Spade Ranch Entrance and I found it to be quite interesting. If you don’t already know, my brother-in-law works for the Spades but in a different part of Texas than what these pictures were taken in. Anyhoo, we drove right past the entrance but I made my husband stomp on the breaks and back up so I could get a picture of it. I thought it was pretty cool and I love anything historical.
As you can see, it says ELLWOOD-RENDERBROOK-RANCH and features the Spade brand with the orginating year of 1889. It’s been around for a long time and still going strong!
Those of you who live on a ranch or have a favorite ranch, I would love to see the brand. Post it on your blog and link here or just upload it somewhere and leave the link to it with your comment! Maybe I’ll gather them up and post them here.
