We spent the whole weekend in Midland to shop for last Christmas gifts and it was nothing but miserable. Our only enjoyment from the trip was our food feast at Logan’s with our family. Here’s Truett and my niece enjoying their fries:)
Between the traffic and 45 minutes standing in line, I was stressed to say the least. We did get almost everything that was on our list from auto accessories to V-tech learning system for little Truett. I would tell ya what we got our oldest boys but they read my blog from school sometimes;)
My youngest son bought an Xbox 360 bundle with money he had saved and Christmas money from his grandparents. I pitched in $50 for the warranty. I think Best Buy has the best plans. One little thing breaks, you get a brand spankin’ new one. None of that sending it in to be fixed crap.
Presents are wrapped and sitting pretty under the tree. Now I need to go clean. Ummm, if you want to help, just contact me and I can make arrangements:)

What I was as serious as a heart attack? I never joke around about serious matters such as cleaning the house. In fact I think I will leave work a bit early so I too can go and clean the house.
Oh and make your arrangements and put up the to-do list I’m on the next flight south (well if I can catch one of those freaking geese). Dang those little buggers are hard to catch.
Since we’re both grown-ups and not that much into Xmas, we buy each other presents during boxing day. So I’m free too!
Ooops… forgot I have the office party and my friend’s party this week. Okay I’m free but for the cooking ;-)
