Oh wait, that’s not a raccoon..although he’s adorable and mischievous like one! Camera shy you think?

So my husband caught this armadillo yesterday for my son to check out. He’s caught some before but this was the first time little man got to see one up close! Anyways, I just wanted to share pics with your for those who have never seen one up close. So, is it a female I guess??? You tell me!

We’ve got baby chicks hatching, guineas, turkey and big chickens all in a row:) This doesn’t count the chivo, 3 dogs, y caballos either. Can you top that?? Would love to hear about your animals!

Oh, and those numbers on the eggs are dates so that we’ll know when they’re supposed to hatch.  This bunch was raised in the incubator.

You do know that lizards can bite doncha? I’ve never been bit, nor do I know anyone who has but they can be very dangerous if not treated. I mean, who knows, you could have a lizard tooth stuck in ya! Don’t fret though, you can call or visit your local pharmaceutical companies to get some medication, unless it’s poisionous….then you better get ur butt to the doc!

Anyways, back to my new friend. This lil’ guy or gal, stayed in the same place forever! First, it was turning a cheek up at me, trying to act like it didn’t see me. Then it decided to look me straight square in the eye! I thought about killing it, only to avoid possible bites to my 2yr old but I think he’s harmless enough and will just run away. At least that’s how he looks…….

These 3 convicts escaped their 15ft prison walls somehow.  I highly doubt that they jumped that fence, unless they, of course they have wings hidden under that fur.  Nope, we figure they must have gotten out through a water gap.  You know, it sure was hard not to pull out the ol’ 30/30 and get ourselves some free meat!  I wonder if they have term insurance?  No, not the elk silly!–the owners:)

I would have gotten out of the truck and stuck my lens through the fence but I was barefoot and there were lots of stickers, not that my feet would notice but you know…….

This is the Mac Daddy I figure.  I mean, he looks like a mac daddy don’t he?  Surely it’s not a Mac Mommy???  Do the girls get antlers?  LOL….pardon me while I Google that!

Also, I’ve had a few comments on people wanting to blog but lacking the self confidence.  I can totally relate to this and, in fact, I had that same lack of confidence when I first began.  I still have it to a degree but I have learned to deal with, research the things I don’t know, and ask TONS of questions!  Someone is always going to know more than you and that’s just a fact.  Deal with it and move on.   I would love to know more about investing, scrapbooking, home insurance quotes stuff, and PHOTOGRAPHY!!
