My little man has played with his big brother’s game system a little bit but most of the games are not suitable for a little fella at all. I was extremely excited to receive this V. Smile V-Motion Active Learning System the other day because it is geared towards little ones, which means age appropriate games and fun interaction.

So we get the game and my middle son set it all up with ease. As soon as we turned it on, little man instantly started going, “OOOOOOOOH, AAAAAAAAH” and giggling uncontrollably. I don’t know if I’ve seen him so excited to hold a controller and we hadn’t even turned it on yet! LOL

We inserted the ‘Action Mania’ game (comes with system) which has all sorts of fun games like racing, bobsledding, ball balancing, tennis, and turned little man loose. Oh, he had no problem at all figuring out how to use the joystick and button to play the game so when he realized you could use the entire controller as the joystick, he went into cuteness overload! He was swaying back and forth, moving the race car from side to side. OMG, it really was the cutest thing ever! He was a pro in about 3 minutes flat!

If little man could give this a star rating, I guarantee you it would be a million! I give it a million myself. I’d like to point out that he’s not even two yet but somehow was picking all the correct letters during the race??? Genius perhaps???..LOL

The controller is similar to the Wii, you are using motion to control your player which is totally cool because it gets your little one off their butt on movin’ around. You do have a choice. You can use the motion sensors or the standard joystick. It’s easy to hold and simple to use.

This game was fun but I do want to get my little man The Wonder Pets game. He loves them and I think he’d have a blast with that one.

Oh, and you can get this system in PINK! Super cute for the girls;) So aside from having fun games and a wireless controller, what else does it have? How about web connectivity! Yep, it has that and more. It’s no wonder they’ve won awards like the 2008 Seal of Excellence Award and the Creative Child 2008 Seal of Excellence among many others.

Overall, the learning factor and the fun interaction makes this system one of the best in my book. Giving smaller children more positive game influences is what we need today!
