I’m getting better at this going green thing. Sommer from Green and Clean Mom, she’s always teasing me and bugging me about it (not in a bad way). What I need is to get a Green Irene to come on over to my house and show me how to save energy, conserve water, clean a little bit greener and be more earth friendly. What a great concept, having a trained Eco consultant who knows their stuff give me the low down on what I need to do. Seeing that Sommer isn’t near by and at Blogher 09′ we won’t be cleaning and changing light bulbs (we’ll I won’t be) this Green eco-consultant would be nifty and it isn’t expensive. Less than a hundred smackeroos and you get to ask questions, have a green guru in your home with all the necessary products to buy, if you want or need to. They even will help you install what you need to install. Wow!

With so many people looking for a way to start a business or be a entrepreneur they even offer this option. Maybe you have a Green Irene come to your house and love it so much you want to become a Green Irene too! Why not? Reading it over, there’s a lot of benefits to being a Green Irene! A while back, I received some smelly pencils that were really fun to get and smell;), but what I really liked about them, is that they were made from 100% recycled newspaper. I really do believe that anything we can do to make this place better to live in, we should do. Our kids and grandkids will have to live here long after we’re gone and they need to be surrounded by a healthy environment. Some things you can do to help this, are buying environmental products - products that are eco friendly! I think that you would be quite surprised of what kind of products can make a difference. Many items from solar power and even furniture, have been made to “friendly” and if we all did our little parts, it could make this world a much healthier place to live in.

By helping, you are also setting a good example for your kiddos and friends to follow. Why not do something good for yourself and for the future generation.

Quit buying plasticware, used a recycled bag for your groceries, and consider things like skylights & weed killers that are earth friendly. There are so many things that can help and it only requires minimal effort on your part. So get green and make this place better to breathe and live in! Use the coupon and start the New Year right!
