I’ll first say, I was mildly disappointed with the incoming traffic results.  According to Google Analytics, I only saw 160 visits from there to here.  I really expected more because of his huge readership.  Granted there was an increase in pageviews, I have actually seen just as good results from other bloggers reviewing me (less well known) or mentioning me in their post.  With that said, I am still seeing traffic trickling in from that post which tells me, that even though I didn’t get as big as a result at the time, it looks like I will definitely benefit long term.

Now, as far as subscribers go, I reached a high of 283.  This is an increase of 23 subscribers.  Obviously, I’m not 100% sure on they subscribed based on that guest post or not, but I believe it is the main push behind it since the increase came 1, 2, and 3 days after the guest post.

There were 25 comments including mine in responding to others.  I tried to respond to everyone in hopes of letting them know that I am personable and care about their questions, concerns, and what they had to say.  I was flattered by a couple of the comments and also learned a couple of things.  There were 2 things that were asked that I didn’t cover in the article.  Next time I will try to remember to cover the MAC! 

Overall, I am happy with the results and would do it again in a heartbeat!  I think the more you do, the more people will follow.  The experience was a little nerve racking but well worth it.  I’m glad I put myself out there and can’t wait to do it again in the future!  I highly recommend you give it try.
