Sometimes I tend to let my past failures bring me down in the present. Take my education for example. It was me that everyone KNEW would graduate. While everyone had hoped my brother would, they had their concerns because he had taken a partying path, etc. But you know..he DID graduate and we were all so proud of him. But you know everyone was quite disappointed when I dropped out of high school, the first week of my junior year. The rest is history but not a day goes by that I don’t regret it. Especially when I’m at certain events and everyone who is introducing themselves say they have a bachelors degree in this or that. It brings me down every.single.time.  Not so much because I failed myself but because I failed my parents and now my kids.

I know that I’m smart, maybe not as smart as those who have the degrees but I’m pretty dang proud of what I accomplished and I know how hard it was for me to get where I am.  Even so, it is that piece of paper that will weigh on my shoulders, always.  It will be those 2 years I didn’t get to spend with my friends or the senior prom that I will never live out, that will forever be in my mind.

So as I sit there watching this whale show and watching the story in it, I began to cry.  I don’t know why really except that it made me feel like I CAN DO ANYTHING.  It made me want to go home and tell my kids that there are so many opportunities waiting out there for them, if they just take the chance and embrace what comes there way.  And I did go home and tell them that.  And they asked if I was okay. lol  I told them I was okay and to, “just remember to believe”.

I’ve already said thank you to SeaWorld and wrote a post the Manta Roller Coaster but it was the “Believe” show that stole my heart so I want thank you again because as we get older, we sometimes forget that we can still accomplish so much more , if we believe.

See the guys at the top of the whales? Amazing really.  Yeah, I know I shared this already but you get to look at it again!

I got to ride with Audrey (who was terrified to ride it), Arianne (who closed her eyes most of the time), and Tara (aka mop head cause her hair completely covered her face! lol).

As you start the incline, you have an amazing view of the park.  Quickly you are swooshed down and around and then to my favorite part which was the loop!  Two other parts I loved are when we are at a side angle and the wing grazes the water, getting the person sitting on that side a little wet.  There’s a waterfall in your path that scares you just a bit ’cause it looks like you’re gonna hit it, of course you don’t!!!  We scream at that point of course but I mostly laughed the entire time. I was cracking up and I have no clue why except that I was having fun!

And if you want to virtually experience the ride, check out the video for yourself!  It was an awesome roller coaster and if you get the chance, you must ride it! Me and Tara rode it 3 times in a row and wished we could have done it a 4th time! They say if you ride at the very back, to the left, it’s has more of a “G-Force” and makes for an even more crazy ride!

I’m going to SeaWorld on May 20th-22nd for Manta Media Day. I can’t wait and have only been to Florida once….and that was Jacksonville.

So, I need a tan before I go! Should I  get a spray one or are there some good tanners I could use? I’ve never used any really cause I’m always scared they are going to turn me the wrong color but I know bunches that do. I would love to hear your recommendations. I think tans make you look thinner, seriously. I’m so white that you can’t even tell I’m half Mexican! GAH! This is what happens when you’re a problogger by the way. You forget to go outside every now and then, unless your husband drags you because he needs you to hold a horse or help with chores or open gates.

I bought a few pieces of clothing like Capri’s and cute tops and yes, even a bathing suit (barf). I’m taking flops and running shoes and hope the hotel has a workout room, which I’m sure it does. I really don’t want to be distracted from weight loss goals just cause I’m having fun somewhere in Florida.  I’m getting my toes done too, which I have never done but this is a fun, special occasion and I thought it would be appropriate!

So, am I missing anything?  Do you know about SeaWorld’s Manta?  Should I be skeered?  It looks like my gut is gonna hang down. That would make for a lovely picture eh?
