I’ve had quite a few people ask me about Toby and why I don’t mention him much. The main reason is because he really doesn’t like for me to talk about him on the blog, much less show pictures of him. I’m gonna make an exception this time and tell you a little bit about him.
Toby turns 12 on March 25. He’s NOT a cowboy. He’s very smart and witty and absolutely loves school. In fact, he doesn’t enjoy summer for very long because he gets bored. He can always come back with some kind of clever remark and always has something to say about everything. He’s the most kind hearted kid and he will actually give me a hug without me even asking! Every since he was little, he always shared with other, if he sees that there’s not enough food to go ’round he won’t eat no more, and he will be the first one to wanna help someone in need. He’s all about safety and even wears his seatbelt on the dirt road. I call him my weatherman because he’s always predicting the weather. He’s fascinated with the sky, the stars, and loves to watch the discovery channel. He’s still very much a kid though. He enjoys cartoons and rolling around with his little brother on the floor. He doesn’t want to grow up, he just wants to be the age he is. He thinks his older brother hates him but doesn’t realize that all older brothers go through the “mean” stage. He has had a crush on one girl, who unfortunately drowned. He cried, I cried, we cried together. He’s all about family. All he wants is for the five of us to do things together like play games, watch movies, and just hangout. He’s not into texting so much, talking on the phone, or anything like that but he does like his Xbox. He has alway been a leader, not a follower. He doesn’t care about what the other kids are doing or wearing; he does his own thing. He’s overprotective of his family because he loves us so much. I do tell him, but I hope he really does understand just how much I love him. I don’t know what I’d do without my middle child.
