I’m working out twice a day now, in the morning and the evening, and I learned the hard way that if you’re not hydrated, you’ll be more susceptible to dizziness and muscle cramps. Proper hydration is essential and for people who like water, that’s no problem. But for people like me, who don’t exactly love the taste of water, we need another solution to help get the Minimum of 8 glasses of water down a day. For me, this is where Crystal Light comes into play. By adding a little flavor to my water, I know that I will be able to drink every bit of the water I need to.
THE WATER WAY CHALLENGE
This Water Way Challenge is to encourage people to drink more water. By participating in the
challenge, you’ll also be helping those who otherwise would not have clean drinking water, not to mention yourself. Over 900 million people around the world have no access to clean water. Just like anything else, I’m sure we all tend to take water for granted because it is so accessible to us. I know I do and then something happens and we’re out of water for a day or so; I remembered quickly just how precious water is. Just think about those who live without clean drinking water on a regular basis. This is a great way to do our part in helping them and kudos to Crystal Light for making a difference as well.
How to Participate in the Challenge
- 1. You need to register, which takes all of 10 seconds.
- 2. Pick the day you want to track.
- 3. Mark it off for each glass of water you drink.
It’s that simple. Basically it’s a way to hold you accountable, which I often need with everything I do. It also keeps track of your hydration level everyday to insure that you are drinking enough. And if you want to see just how much you know about hydration, take the Water Wisdom Assessment. I found it very interesting to see how much water we lose just with breathing, sweating, and eliminated waste. It was more than I answered, which made me realize how important it is to stay hydrated even when I’m not working out!!
It’s a proven fact that water makes you healthier; your body, your skin, your hair, and so much more. If you can drink water and participate in the challenge, you’ll be helping so many more than just yourself. I know I do not drink enough water each day. I’m not sure if you can count cran-raspberry juice, orange juice, etc. I seldom drink straight water. It must have at least lemon in it and whatever I drink must be cold. With all of that being said, I probably drink 4 to 6 glasses per day.

I drink at least two quarts of water a day. Some flavored (Peach Tea, and lemonade) and some just on ice. I usually drink ice water after I walk, or work out. Here in Texas its been in the 90′s and humid, so straight ice water is SOOOOOO refreshing!

I drink probally a gallon or more of room temp water a day.I have one kidney left and have a rare kidney stone disease that requires me 2 consume lots of fluids daily. my water bottle is my close friend:)
I usually drink a quart of water a day. I like it cold.
I drink about a quart of water a day, but the water MUST have ice in it. I hate the taste of water, and the coldness from the ice kills the taste for me.
My wife & I go through 1-2 of those gallon bottles of filtered, icy cold water each day; I estimate we each drink, on average, .75 gallons each per day.

I have started drinking water at work instead of pop
I drink about 5 cups of hot coffee(black) and about 4 glasses of water(Very cold) every day.
all I drink it water. I have one of those water coolers and it’s pefect for us since the kids can have as much water as they want. It’s cold and they feel like it special since it’s not from the tap. The bottle waters were costing me way too much with what we drink.
I drink lots of water. Not sure how much, but I have a glass of ice water by me at all times!
I’m so thankful that my Mother could only afford water to give us as children because that all I know and all that I do now. I love water and don’t feel hydrated without drinking at least 5-6 bottles per day. Thanks for having such a great contest.
