XLIII Super Bowl Football Pepsi Giveaway Party

Are you ready for some football?!!! I know I am and can’t wait for the Super Bowl game but in the mean time, I’ve got a great Pepsi giveaway for you that is jam packed with goodies!

Before I get to the giveaway, I want to encourage you to check out Refresh Everything.  The question, “What would you say to the man who is about to refresh America?”  is asked and they would love to have hear your response via video.  You can also see videos of what others are saying.  If video is not your thing, please feel free to answer the question here in the comments.  I would love to hear what you would say.

We are huge football fans around here and we love it all from 6-man football to the Pros.  My husband was a heck a player back in his day and has several trophies at his old school that have his name on them.  My kids play now and my toddler breathes the game.  He has over a dozen footballs and even sleeps with one.

    5) Share a super bowl party idea/tip: my tip is simple. Tell everyone to please bring their favourite snack along with their favourite beverage and/or spirit.

I call these types of parties: Snackalucks!@

  2. Kobi Hendrix says:

    Pittsburgh Steelers all the way

  3. Andi says:

My superbowl party tip is to have a variety of snacks but nothing that takes tons of time to make. Think chips with different dips (salsa dips to taco dips to spinach dips). None of these are difficult to make but ohsoyummy and they still offer a variety of tastes. In the weeks leading up to the superbowl you can usually find some great sales on chips so start stocking up a few weeks early and save some cash!

  4. Denise says:

My Super Bowl tip is to order the pizza EARLY in oder to avoid the heavy traffic of orders.

  5. ELSIE says:

Share a super bowl party idea/tip – my tip is to space out the snacks – because it always seems that in the beginning of the bowl, I serve a great deal of food, then, everyone seems full and doesn’t eat any of the latter snacks. Thanks for this chance.

    I’ll answer #5.

I make a variation of nachos. you lay down a base of refried beans , heat , add gucaomole (if you like it) , cut up tomatoes, and pleanty of sour cream. Picky up using a strong tortilla or corn chip. Or alternately you can make each person a plate and put tortilla or corn chips on the bottom before adding the already heated refried beans and the other layers and each person can use a fork to eat it.

  43. Marie N says:

    1) What would you advise the President to do to Refresh America?
I’m one of those Americans who believe we have too many Chiefs and not enough Indians in Washington D.C. Obama is an intelligent man and I think he had a vision of what this country could be even before he put it into words because it first formed in his heart.

    2) Who do you predict will win the 2009 Super Bowl?
    PITTSBURGH STEELERS

    3) Who is your favorite football team and/or player?
PITTSBURGH STEELERS and The Terrible Towel!

    4) Who do you think should get Rookie of the Year?
SARAH PALIN aka Carribou Barbie…for total yards run against her own team.

    5) Share a super bowl party idea/tip.
I know a lot of people go with meatballs for the guys, but my guys love sliced browned Kielbasa sausage served with honey mustard and a ton of seasoned potato wedges. It minimizess their need for junk foods with lots of salt and sugar because its filling. And this mom loves her celery and peanut butter sticks…remember you can always make your own peanut butter in the blender if your worried about the recall. Its easier than you think.

Marie Ns last blog post..We hold these truths to be self-evident…

  49. Kimberly says:

    1) What would you advise the President to do to Refresh America?

I’d advise the President to spend our tax dollars wisely with his stimulus package. This means, avoid funding overseas abortions with funds that could be used to help the needy in our own Country.

  50. Marc Hollin says:

I predict the Steelers will win! :)
