Wow! What a loooooooong week and half without Internet! Hopefully this will be the last time I go through this for a while. Lots of stuff going on and to talk about.
Just to refresh………We looked into a job on the September 24th and got hired. Moved in 3 days later. My man started work on the 30th and I started cooking for the ranch on the 3rd. All this while driving back and forth to see our kiddos who are still living with my FIL so that they can finish out the football season. AND then we found out today that they can’t finish the football season because they are not in that district. BUT, they technically still are because they are not living with us yet. UGH!!!! Not sure I understand why they can’t yet..will find that out in the next couple of days.
Anyways, I still haven’t gotten everything unpacked. We still need 2 tv’s, some chest of drawers, and lots of light bulbs..lol.
Something else that has been going on is my BIG NEWS at my food blog! Kraft hired 5 bloggers (me being one of them) to create an original casserole recipe using Velveeta Cheese! I can’t tell you what I got for it but I can tell you that it’s an awesome opportunity, especially for everyday bloggers like myself. At the end of October, voting will open where YOU can vote for the best recipe (hopefully mine;), where the winner will receive a brand new set of stainless steel cookware from Cuisinart and a $500 grocery gift card! I hope that if you all like my recipe, you will vote for me. I’ll be giving away some prizes throughout the promotion and if you cut the cheese with me, all entrants will be entered in the random giveaway for an awesome prize!
Now I have gazillions of emails to get to, twittering to do, and reviews to post so I’ll holler back at you guys later on! I missed you all and am glad to be back!
