Grands Barbecue Cups

By A Cowboy's Wife | September 10, 2012

When you need something quick with few ingredients, these Grands Barbecue Cups are perfect.  I’ve made them many times and in several variations.  I love stuff like this ’cause it just spark up a new idea that suits your tastebuds.

I found this recipe on Walmart’s Meal Solutions app on facebook.  There are tons of recipe ideas and all of them are quick & easy.  I love the app by the way. You can save the recipe, add it to your shopping list, and you can even create a weekly meal plan.  It’s very handy.

Grands Barbecue Cups

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can of Grands Flaky Biscuits
  • 3/4 cup of Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3/4 Kraft Barbecue Sauce

PREP & COOK

PREP: 15 minutes / COOK: 15 minutes / SERVES: 8
  1. Brown ground beef in 10-inch nonstick skillet, mix in barbecue sauce. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until hot.
  2. Seperate each biscuit in half. Firmly press dough in the bottom of a non-stick muffin tin, forming individual cups. Fill with beef mixture; sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Bake at 375°F 13 to 15 minutes or until edges of biscuits are golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from pan.

I like to make the BBQ ones but I also love to put a Mexican spin on them.  I’ll use Bisquick instead of bicuits, ground beef with taco seasoning & onions, and cheese.  Oh man, the possibilities are endless!! I made these for a jewelry party that I held and they were a hit!!  I was so excited since it was the first time I had ever tried to do something like this.

These would make for a great appetizer for FOOTBALL!!!  What spin would you put on them?

Yours sound very tasty. I think I’ll have to try them.
