Football season is one of my favorite times of the year. Not only do watch our beloved Dallas Cowboys play, but we also love our sixman football! This also means we cookout on game days, eat at concessions, and make lots of dips. Our favorite will always be the Jalapeno Popper dip but we love to try new ones like this Loaded Cream Cheese Corn Dip!
Most folks gain weight during the holidays. I’m pretty sure we pack on a few pounds during football season. Seriously, y’all who can resist grilled chicken kabobs, spicy buffalo wings, or spicy buffalo dip. GAH!!
As I’ve mentioned before, this is Truett’s first year to play football. At his school, they don’t get to play until 7th grade so not only has he been super excited, we have been waiting for the day we get to see him play on the same field as his brothers. It’s hard to believe he just turned 13 a few days ago!!
Anyways, one thing is true, we like easy. And this Loaded Cream Cheese Corn Dip is easy, y’all. I also love that these ingredients are things I always have on hand so if we have unexpected guests, I can easily whip some of it up! We usually don’t have leftovers so I like to serve them in salsa type bowls so that everyone can get one or I can have them in two different areas so that we aren’t hovering over the same bowl like cattle that just got a fresh bale of hay.
We’ve tried a few different chips with this but our favorite is good ol’ Fritos, preferably the scoops! If you don’t finish it, stick it back in the fridge and then reheat when ready to eat again! It will hold for a while!
