Winters in Texas, they’re always changing. That temp will soar one day and plummet the next. Usually, it’s mild, but sometimes it’s frigid, and on this particularly cold day, these hard-working ranchers couldn’t resist the warmth of the branding fire.
If you love the cowboys of Yellowstone, you’ll love this print. Dressed in their thick denim jackets and heavy leather coats along with cowboy hats and leather chaps, they’re standing as close as they can to that fire. The cows in the background look their way, probably hoping for the men to drop some hay.
My name’s Lori and I photographed this scene. Not sure why I was out on such a cold day myself, but I’m often right in the middle of things, hoping for that perfect shot. Farm life is my life. And, I like to capture it for others to admire and use as country-western décor or farmhouse art in their own homes from Dallas to D.C. and Houston to Hollywood.
