Pumpkin Pie Dip for Fall

By A Cowboy's Wife | September 16, 2013

For me, Fall means family.  It brings cherished moments with family & friends through football, school functions, and holidays.   Not only that, it makes for beautiful photos of falling leaves and delicious recipes!  Today, I’m bringing you Pumpkin Pie Dip.  This Fall dip is simple to make and is something we’ve enjoyed for several years.   Maybe it will even become a new family tradition recipe with you & yours.

Fall Pumpkin Pie Dip

Pumpkin pie is like THE food that brings Fall into Thanksgiving.  It’s a must-have pie for the holidays.  Unfortunately, not everyone has time to make them.  And frankly, unless you’re making the pies, they’re pretty expensive to buy a nice sized one.  But never fear y’all!  You can have that delicious pumpkin pie taste without heating up the kitchen.  The Fall Pumpkin Dip takes about 2 minutes to whip up AND serve.  Yep, it’s that simple and tastes just as good as a pumpkin pie y’all.

Ingredients
  • 1 15oz can of Pumpkin
  • 1 tub Cool whip
  • 1 4.6oz box of Vanilla Pudding, it's the larger box
Instructions
  1. In truth, I actually only used half a can of pumpkin. If you use all of it, then I recommend using a larger tub of cool whip but either way, I think it will be fine.
  2. Combine first three ingredients. Make sure to use the pudding mix DRY.
  3. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice and serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or best of all, ginger snaps! I also think some apple slices would be good with this as well. Be sure and keep refrigerated when not serving.
