By A Cowboy's Wife | June 17, 2014

Everyone that knows me, knows that I’m not a HUGE fan of steak. Oh I eat it but I like WELL DONE and no fat. I know….so one of my favorite things to do, is make steak tips, seared to my idea of perfection, with nothing but flavor!
Hope y’all enjoy and remember to ‘Pin it’! If you hover over the picture, you’ll see the red Pinterest logo. WOOHOO! Thanks to my tech girl for that.

Ingredients
  • 1-2 pounds of steak tips
  • 2 table spoons of Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • ½ cup A1 or Steak Sauce
  • few dashes of Worcestershir Sauce
  • whiskey, just enough to deglaze the pan
Instructions
  1. Start with a large skillet on medium high heat. Add meat and a little bit of the Worcestershir and A1 when the skillet is up to temp. Sprinkle with the Montreal steak seasoning. Cook about 3 minutes on each side (about 6 minutes total), checking temp for your preferred doneness. When the meat is almost done and with the heat still on medium high add in the dash of whisky to deglaze the pan. Use a metal whisk or fork to scrape off the browned sauce and ‘drippings.’ Mix well with the whisky and add in a little bit of extra A1 if needed for a thick, delicious glaze. The meat will start to have a slight caramelized coloring added to it and have a candied taste when finished. Remove from heat and let rest for about 10 minutes before serving with your favorite sides or turning into a fantastic sandwich!
