Mini Poem: Me and My Cowboy Guitar Are Grounded
“Mama, don’t fence your little cowboy in.
I won’t be doing the thing I shouldn’t have done again
I’ll do my time sitting on the rock strumming my guitar friend,
until my broken little cowboy heart is on the mend.
It’s just that I have big dreams and I wanted to try them out.
Don’t you feel sorry for me and see my bottom lip in it’s quivering pout.
Oh, I should just put to music what I’m feeling,
yet being grounded is not so music appealing.
Do you hear me singing, Oh mama don’t fence me in ?
Should I sing it again and again?”
