Gel Pro Chef’s Mat

By A Cowboy's Wife | January 26, 2009

This give is part of the Bloggy Giveaways!  Go check it out for hundreds of other giveaways.  (starts at 8am CST).

The gel comfort technology in the Gel Pro Chef’s Mat alleviates nagging foot & back pain, so that you can enjoy your time standing there cooking, or washing dishes! I love it. I had this in my holiday gift guide and it was a hit and with good reason. I’ve had one since Christmas and I can honestly say it’s fabulous! I’m barefoot all the time so I don’t have any sort of shoe padding to help comfort my feet and when you cook on a ranch and for 3 boys, you’re always on your feet. It’s been a nice addition to say the least. I just wish I had a longer one that would run from one end to the other. On my wish list *ahem*.  Not just for my kitchen either but for my laundry room because I am ALWAYS in there!gelpro

They come in all sorts of colors and style like

  • Basketweave
  • Cordoba
  • Striated
  • Crocodile
  • Ostrich
  • Rattlesnake

Now if I could pick another one out, I would choose Rattlesnake because well, it’s countryfied!  We’ll be doing rattlesnake hunting in Feb so it would suit us well I think.

WIN ONE!

Up for a win is a standard size Gel Pro Chef’s Mat!  (color & style TBA min. prize value is $99)

HOW TO ENTER

Visit the Gel Pro website and tell me what color & style you would choose if you could get any one.  Come back here and leave a comment with your answers.

  19. Robyns Online World says

    January 26, 2009 at 9:14 am

I love some of the patterns, but we have a very busy slate looking tile in the kitchen so I think I would go with something a little simpler for the mat – the black striated.

Glad to hear you actually have one and find it helpful. I’ve been contemplating buying one myself but have been hesitant to spend so much on a floor mat without hearing from others about it.

    Crocodile: Truffle

Truffle is the darkest of the browns in the Crocodile Line. The color of the darkest chocolate, it offers a rich anchor to many décors. The glossy surface is very well pronounced in this delicious espresso color.

A true friend is not a friend that you can see and know that they are there without a doubt. A true friend is a friend you truly have faith in without a doubt. True friendship is when you don’t see that friend but you know that they are there and you learn to trust and believe in them…that one day you will see them without a doubt! I wa t everyone to feel this way…I WILL make everyone feel this way. Runescape gave me that chance…to know what true friendship really is. Together, we flew in the sky , over the ocean , in a dream that lasted forever! With unbroken bonds of the new existence. I DECLARE THESE BONDS UNBROKEN. I will fly with them forever in a dream that turns to the new reality.I am a blinding light made new, emptied of all preexisting darkness, and I will guide those in the darkness.Believe me..when I say I will do something, I will most likely do it eventually. I live to be the very best, not fine, not decent, good, amazing or outstanding. I live to be the very best.I burned fires of infinitism down the longest path that existed for eternity shedding tears…with my friends in the most magical and legendary lake of all time. These friends are the light that shines in the distant…you are the one in the darkness…looking for that light! That light. Is the only thing there to trust, you leave it to chance. One day you find it but it disappears. You can only have faith. That the light is still there. I found that light and I constantly lose it but I learn to trust it even more. I WILL win THIS. I DECLARE IT!!!!!!!!!!! This is how bad I want to win!

I absolutely love the Rattlesnake and the Ostrich patterns but to match my kitchen (where I need the Gel Pro the most) the Striated in Moss would look the best, in fact it would look awesome.
I have had a bad back for years, IF I wear shoes it is something floppy that I don’t have to bend over at all to put on. Still being a Mom my work is never done, standing crooked, standing hunched, it doesn’t matter to a hungry family. They do help, I cannot say they don’t but I still have my pride and I am still Mom and a Mom’s job to me is to make sure everyone in my house is eating right. Thus the reason I am entering this giveaway, I would love some cushion. Something to help me in my daily chores. Thank you for the change Cowboy’s Wife, have a wonderful upcoming weekend.
