Meet Montelius but You Can Call Him Monty

By A Cowboy's Wife | September 8, 2008

We got a new horse to ride and he’s just a little on the spoiled side but that’s no problemo for these cowboys ’round here!  This is Tyler’s first ride and since I had heard that Monty likes to buck a little, you know I was gonna be out there with my camera.  I missed quite a few shots because he was too close to me and I had my big lens on….ugh!  I did manage to get a couple of pictures.  A couple of the shots, you can see it looks like Tyler’s coming out of his seat but he did manage to stay on with no trouble at all.

I debated on whether to make the b&w…..I don’t like changing a photo much but there’s something about the vintage cowboy look and bronc ridin’ pictures always look good in black and white to me!

I’ve also been working on my man’s web page.  Still have lots to do to it but tell me what you think:)

So cool. What a lucky kid to grow up on a ranch. Close friends of my family had a ranch in Missouri, and we went there every summer. I loved it so much.

Wooohooo! Go Tyler! The black and whites look great Lori! I also like Rooster’s page you are developing for him. I like the simple look. I would also think you would want to post pictures of everything he’s made so people can see his craftiness. Lookin good!

Great pics! The black & white move them from good to great! Thanks for posting these. They are a nice break from the hum-drum of my office.

Wow, those are some killer shots… Looks like something straight out of a western film. Now if only Tyler would put the WTW t-shirt back on. :P

    Great stuff, Lori!
